This is a week 29 iphone (originaly 1.0.1 or 1.0.2 i think and it was unlocked with an old terminal or iUnlock.pxl unlock) that has a 0049 IMEI (corrupted baseband – cant unlock with AnySim – sometimes also includes no Wifi etc), it got this from upgrading to 1.1.1 without virginizing. I then tried everything to restore the IMEI – upgrading to 1.1.3, downgrading the baseband, viginizing, restoring etc).
Using an UltraSim on 1.1.2 (still with bad IMEI), I got full service back. Once I loaded the correct AppSupport file i was making and receiving calls and sms, everything was working. This should help allot of people, but i am thinking, what IMEI is it broadcasting to the carrier (Bmobile or Digicel)? would they be seeing the 0049 IMEI?
